Obama is a strong supporter of Kentucky
Ben Chandler Bigwig Kentucky, USA rep and a new grandchild son of a former governor, agreed today Obama Barack Obama’s state of the campaign said the director.
The agreement would give Obama the support of Kentucky’s two Democratic members of Congress - the state of most urban areas - a leader in a primary school in the state on May 20.
Carolyn Tandy, Obama campaign director, in Kentucky, told the Associated Press Tuesday that Chandler is to announce its support for Obama in late morning, a press conference in downtown Louisville.
Chandler is a central circle Kentucky, Lexington. He entered Congress in spring 2004, after the electoral victory to an occupation of the headquarters of the Republican Ernie Fletcher, defeated him in the status of the year 2003 gubernatorial choice. Chandler is also a former State Attorney General and Commissioner of accounts.
The names of Chandler is one of the best known in Kentucky politics. Ben Chandler’s grandfather, A.B. “Happy” Chandler, was twice elected governor, served in the United States Senate and was commissioner of baseball.
